Workshops

Short workshop programs are available at our centre in the following subject areas for High School students.

Essay Writing 

In our Essay Writing Workshop program, students learn, step by step, how to plan, draft, edit, and rewrite an essay.
During this workshop, students receive a booklet to work through with a qualified educator who is highly experienced in essay writing.
This workshop is suited for high school students (Years 7 - 12); as well as TAFE and undergraduate level university students.

Study Techniques & Exam Preparation 

In our Study Skills & Exam Preparation Workshop program, students learn how to
improve their skills in these areas.
During this workshop, students receive a booklet that they work through with a qualified educator who is well experienced in study techniques and exam preparation.
This workshop is suited for high school students (Years 7 - 12); as well as TAFE and undergraduate level university students.

Analysing Literature 

In our analysing literature workshop program, students develop the skills to analyse different types of literature.
The types of literature analysed include poetry, short fiction & non-fiction.
The visual texts studied include posters, cartoons & advertisements.
During this workshop, students receive a booklet that they work through with a qualified educator who is well experienced in analysing literature.
This workshop is suited for high school students (Years 7 - 12).
